Propshafts

We offer a range of services including manufacture, repair and modification. Where a propshaft is causing vibration, it is often because the shaft is out of balance. This can be due to a balance weight having fallen off, damage, poor repairs, or worn components. It will lead to vibration within bands of approximately 20mph, so if it starts at 40mph it will alliviate at 60mph. Where the vibration is over the complete speed range it is likely the shaft is bent. As well as balance we can lighten, shorten and strengthen existing shafts. We can also change the joints to mate to different gearboxes or differentials. Where power gains are damaging existing shafts we can advise on manufacturing stronger units.

Driveshafts

We can rebuild and service your existing shafts. For high power applications, or where slicks are being extensively used, we can manufacture stronger shafts.

Differentials

Services we can offer:

• AtomicRex can rebuild your OE differentials in house.

• Changing final drives.

• Uprating to AtomicRex differentials with 1.5 way for track applications and 2 way for drift applications.

• Fit cooling systems.

Gearboxes

Services we can offer:

• AtomicRex can rebuild your OE gearboxes in house
• Strip and inspect both OE and aftermarket boxes.
• Service and replace any worn parts.
• Change ratios where possible.
• Uprate internals for standard boxes.
• Convert OE Boxes to sequential or H pattern dog boxes
• Fit Cooling systems.

All work is undertaken in a clean and dedicated area with specialist tools and stands.
