Exhausts

Our In-house exhaust fabrication can design your exhaust system to your specification. Depending on the application and the expected temperatures we will advise the correct stainless alloy to use.

Stainless steel 304 tubing has excellent resistance to corrosion from exhaust gases together with an ability to withstand high temperatures that are common in exhaust applications.

Stainless Steel 321 is generally used in preference to 304 where higher temperatures are involved particularly turbo charged systems. 321 is alloyed with titanium which helps eliminate carbide precipitation which means that the chromium content of the material is not effected thereby maintaining the materials stainless properties. It is available in thicknesses up to 1.6mm and is a special order item.

All our exhausts are TIG welded, we also have facilities to fit aftermarket systems, and make repairs to existing systems.

Turbos

We recommend Garrett's new range of GTA turbos, which can be purchased in a variety of sizes to match your engine and application.

The advantages of the Garrett GT turbocharger are its ability to withstand high levels of boost pressure without rapid axial wear and quick spool up giving instant throttle response.

Wastegates

We recommend and run TiAL wastegates on our own race cars and have found they have proven themselves to maintain correct boost levels faultlessly. Unlike cheaper wastegates that can suffer from diaphragm failure, these are used by race teams across the world without issue.
