Suspension

AtomicRex have an in-house room specifically dedicated to alignment and race car set up. We use Longacre professional corner scales including a flat floor, with the ability to change Castor, Camber, Toe, Damper settings, ride heights and corner weights. We can advise on base settings for individual vehicles and their intended use, and where necessary accompany the vehicle at a track session to fine tune the suspension to maximise use of the tyres and aid better traction and cornering.

OE bushes can be removed and replaced with PowerFlex Poly bushes in either Fast Road or Race compounds. Changing the bushes will increases tyre life and improves performance.

Whilst the suspension is being rebushed, then it is an ideal time to consider refurbishing the arms, by either shot blasting or powdercoating. See ourcoatings section.

Where OE suspension has reached its limits for the intended application we can design and manufacture rose jointed arms so as to increase adjustability to maximise your set up. On full race versions we would look to rose joint the complete car so as to remove any movement and therefore maximise set up.
